Software logistics aims to facilitate (the management of) the whole software product life-cycle. This includes activities such as product definition, component development, release assembly, deployment, support and evolution.

SERC's work on software logistics

We have been working on a generic model for software logistics. Within the ITEA ESAPS project we're looking at how this model can be extended to deal with system family/product line development.
